Archives Wellington
- From 1st September 2025 you will be able to access both the National Library holdings and Wellington Archive's holdings from the Katherine Mansfield Reading Room at the National Library. Hours are 10am to 5pm Monday to Friday. On Saturdays, Library collections are available from 9am to 1 pm. Archivists and Librarians are available to help.
- If planning a visit and you would like to access Archives New Zealand collections, could you use the pre-order form available on the Archives website
- Archives has improved its Collection Search web page to make it easier to find records.

N.Z. Ancestor Search Helper
Release of 1926 Census of Ireland
- This is the first census after Ireland became the Irish Free State and bridges the gap between the 1911 census and later records.
- Public release is due 18th April 2026
- Does not include Northern Ireland

18th AFFHO Congress
- The New Zealand Society of Genealogists is hosting the 18th Congress of the Australasian Federation of Family History Organisations. This wil be held in Wellington 11 - 14 February 2027 at Rutherford House, Victoria University of Wellington. The NZSG has set up a website which you can view here
